1000 Beds for Christmas 2025

This winter, you can change lives. Thousands of families across the country do not know where they’ll be sleeping this Christmas. Families are being squeezed into temporary accommodation. Children are falling asleep in places that were never meant to be homes.

The latest figures show more than 78,000 households across England are currently at risk of or experiencing homelessness, with over 5,100 in Greater Manchester alone.

Our winter campaign, 1,000 Beds for Christmas, is back for 2025. We’re back for the people and families behind these statistics. Your support is more important than ever.

The cost of living is rising for everyone. And that includes the cost of safe accommodation, which has now increased to £32 for a single night.

But ‘A Bed Every Night’ is not just about shelter. It provides food, warmth, safety, and dedicated wraparound support – the kind of support that transforms lives and offers hope at the end of the tunnel.

We’ve seen this impact first-hand.

David* came into A Bed Every Night with a diagnosis of ADHD and a deep mistrust of others. Through regular emotional support from his key worker, he began exploring long term housing options. He described the scheme as having someone who "listens and doesn’t judge". It truly transformed his life.

Since we launched, we’ve been able to provide over 87,000 nights of accommodation across Greater Manchester through ‘A Bed Every Night’, supporting countless people like David who are now on the path to a brighter future.

Last year, thanks to your generosity, we raised £55,000 through our winter campaign to support this vital work.

This year, we're proud to announce that Together, the Stockport-based property finance specialist, is once again supporting the campaign. For the fourth year running, they’re helping your donation go that bit further, pledging to match the first £20,000 donated. Your donation can go twice as far.

The need is urgent. We are asking people across Greater Manchester to get behind this campaign and help us provide 1,000 beds to those in crisis.

Help us support the frontline services working every day to tackle homelessness. Help us ensure A Bed Every Night continues to be there for those who need it most.

Please donate today.
