Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity has welcomed the election of Bev Craig as the new Mayor and confirmed she will be invited to become Patron of the charity.

Our founding patron, Prime Minister Andy Burnham, used his very first instruction from No. 10 to commit to ending rough sleeping. It is a powerful statement of intent, and one that reflects a cause he has championed for many years.

Through our grant-making we recently supported the costs of MASH’s drop-in centre, supporting women who sex work, many of whom face housing instability and homelessness.

1,000 beds for Christmas campaign aims to provide 1,000 nights of accommodation to people at risk of homelessness as part of the ‘A Bed Every Night’ scheme. 

City leadership team swop their beds for sleeping bags for one night to raise funds and awareness in the fight against homelessness.
