We’re Hiring: Communications & Campaigns Manager

Got a way with words? Ready to use your creativity for something bigger?

At Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity, we’re on a mission to tackle homelessness across the city-region and we’re looking for a Communications & Campaigns Manager to help us amplify that mission.

We’re on the hunt for someone to help us shake things up, so this is your chance to take the reins on our brand, campaigns and content, and help us grow louder, bolder and more impactful.

The details:

  • Salary: £35,000–£38,000 (dependent on experience)

  • Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours, part-time considered)

  • Location: Hybrid, with travel across Greater Manchester

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll lead the charge on all things brand, communications and campaigns—shaping how we show up, what we say, and how people connect with us.

From bold campaign ideas to compelling digital content, you’ll create meaningful moments that turn first-time interactions into long-term support. Whether it’s crafting messaging that resonates, launching engaging campaigns, or experimenting with new ideas, you’ll make sure everything we do is impactful, consistent and audience-focused.

You’ll also take a smart, data-driven approach—testing, learning and refining to make every campaign stronger than the last.

Why this role is exciting:

  • Your work will help change lives across Greater Manchester

  • You’ll be part of a small but mighty, ambitious team

  • You’ll have the freedom to try new ideas

  • No two days will look the same—this is a role for someone who loves variety and momentum

Who you are:

You’re creative, proactive and full of ideas—but you also know how to deliver. You thrive in a busy environment, bring sharp judgement and attention to detail, and most importantly, you care. About the work, the people, and the difference we’re trying to make.
