We believe homelessness has no place in Greater Manchester, and that everyone should be able to flourish and thrive. You can be part of that.
We’re looking to recruit up to three trustees to join our Board of Trustees, complementing our existing skill set to help us realise our vision. As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in our work, supporting the operational team to deliver on our strategy, help to raise the profile of the charity, and help us maximise our fundraising efforts.
We are a small charity but with big ambitions and a big reach. If you want to be part of something exciting, now is the time to join us.
We are particularly interested in trustees with experience in the following areas:
Fundraising and philanthropy (particularly major gifts and corporate partnerships)
Events management
Charity or company finance
Charity of company law and compliance
Senior leadership within the VCFSE or not-for-profit sector
Alongside direct recruitment to our Board of Trustees, we are also pleased to announce our new Associate Board programme.
This new scheme is an exciting opportunity for a young person in the city-region to develop their skills and profile while gaining Board-level leadership and governance experience. If you have questions about the Associate Board programme, please make sure to sign up for our webinar on 1st May (18.00-19.00).
The Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity values diversity. We recognise the need to ensure our composition is more reflective of the people of Greater Manchester.
We are dedicated to cultivating and upholding a culture of inclusion, and we are committed to equal opportunity and anti-discrimination practices. This runs through all of our work, and is demonstrated in our status as members of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter.
We seek diversity in our applicants and are particularly interested in attracting applications from candidates from historically marginalised groups, and groups under-represented in the Charity sector.
For more information, and details on how to apply, please view the Trustee Recruitment pack.
Closing date: 18th May, 5.00pm
